Born in Hong Kong and raised a Jersey girl, Nancy is a globetrotter at heart. She has traveled to over 20 countries, studied and lived in various parts of China, US and England, and volunteered in Peru. After graduating NYU Stern with a BS in International Business and Finance, she joined JPMorgan Chase and gained invaluable experience as a trading middle office manager in the Emerging Markets business. During her time there, she was involved with various non-profit organizations and developed an interest in microenterprises and social innovation. This inspired her to take her career in a more entrepreneurial direction. She believes that microfinance has the catalytic power to transform the economic landscape of the developing world by alleviating poverty through sustainable self-sufficiency. Nancy is excited for the opportunity to be a Kiva Fellow in the underserved, rural areas of India, where she can combine her passion for social entrepreneurship and her skill sets from the business world to help advance development goals with the field partners.
