Mujeres De Ypacarai Group
A loan of $3,050 helps a member to purchase merchandise.
Mujeres De Ypacarai Group's story
Rosana is an entrepreneur and mother of a family with eight members. She formed part of the Mujeres de Ypacarai loan group. Currently, she works selling clothing, an activity which allowed her to get her family ahead. Although she already had this business, joining the loan group offered her access to more capital, which allowed her to invest in more merchandise and, as a result, to increase her income.
Her dream is to continue expanding her business, reaching more people and, particularly, inspiring other women to be motivated to go into business. Rosana wants her success to serve as an example for other women to discover their own potential and find in business a way to improve their quality of life and that of their families.
With the current loan, she plans to invest in jeans for women and men, socks, children's outfits, t-shirts, jackets, and fragrances for women and men.
Other group members work selling perfume, sheets, cleaning products, have stores, and other businesses.
