Uuganbayar's story

I am 51 years old and have been living in America for 14 years. I first arrived in San Francisco and started working as a caregiver. Over the years, I’ve traveled to 24 states across the U.S. In 2015, I moved to Madison, Wisconsin, for work. Back in Mongolia, I owned a retail store, which inspired me to start a small business in America. In 2018, after giving birth to my son, I decided to stay home and began selling a few products on Facebook Marketplace, eBay, and Poshmark. I realized that Mongolian eco-friendly and sustainable products could appeal to American consumers. This motivated me to open my own store in 2019, focusing on bringing unique, environmentally conscious items to the market. This journey has been challenging but rewarding, blending my Mongolian heritage with my life in America. It’s a story of resilience, adaptation, and pursuing my passion for business.
